The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is asking for the public's help in locating a federal fugitive accused of gun and drug crimes.

The Bureau is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of Thomas Martinez.

In a press release posted by the Torrington Police Department, authorities say Martinez is wanted in connection to firearm and controlled substance charges after Torrington police searched his home in October.

Anyone with information on Martinez's whereabouts is asked to call the ATF tip line at 1-800-ATF-TIPS, the Torrington Police Department at 307-532-7001 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Callers to the ATF and Crime Stoppers tip lines can remain anonymous.

Anyone with information can also submit a tip through the ATF's new "reportit" app, available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. All tips reported via the app are confidential and can be anonymous.
