F.E. Warren Air Force Base is working to strengthen its ties with the Cheyenne community.

As part of the Air Force Community Partnership Program, the base signed five agreements with community leaders Tuesday.

90th Missile Wing Commander Colonel Stephen Kravitsky says the agreements, which include reciprocal golf play and youth sports program agreements with the City of Cheyenne as well as an agreement with Laramie County Community College to use the base's auto skills center for mechanic courses, benefit both the base and the community.

"We have a great relationship between F.E. Warren and the local community and I think this just strengthens it," said Colonel Kravitsky. "Budgets are tight right now and this leveraging of resources is really helpful."

Colonel Kravitsky says the base plans to partner with the community on future projects as well.

"This is the beginning," said Colonel Kravitsky. "We're really looking at our innovative airmen to look at other things that we can leverage between our installation and the local community."
