EXCLUSIVE: A Close Call with Casper’s ‘Sheep Herder Hill’ Fire [PHOTOS]

A scary night for Casper Mountain Resident Randy Evans and his family, as they narrowly escaped the flames from the “Sheep Herder Hill” fire. Evans said they kicked into high gear as the smoke approached their home. He said he could see the flames from the second story of their house, and began packing in the event they had to move out. He said he also had a tractor ready to push down trees, should the need arise.

Evans said their home was spared from the flames, but he and his family are packed and ready to move out, should the situation change.
