Additional Information

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and the Natrona County SART team (Sexual Assault Resource Team) plans to ‘shine the light’ on the topic. Join us April 2, 2013 at 7:30 pm at the Self Help Center on East Second Street as we shine flashlights and turn on our headlights, bringing the topic out of the darkness.
Each year, women in our community are sexually assaulted. Such violence is a criminal act. In an act of solidarity with the victims, SART members will wear teal ribbons during the month of April. The male workers at Wyoming Medical Center will wear white ribbons as a stand against violence imparted upon women, and law enforcement around the county will have ribbons tied to their vehicle’s antennas.
Please stand with us as we stand beside women in our community – join us at Self Help April 2 and wear a ribbon!
