Evansville Police are still searching for a vehicle that was involved in a hit and run incident on Saturday, August 17th, which resulted in a young boy being sent to the hospital.

Captain Tom Laughrey of the Evansville Police Department says it happened sometime after 8:30pm on Copper Avenue.

"White pickup, possibly a dually, hit a youngster, juvenile that was on a scooter, and the vehicle left the scene. He was transported to Denver that night and I have not heard what his current condition is."

Investigators are still interviewing witnesses.

Anyone with any information about the vehicle or the driver, is asked to contact the Evansville Police Department.
