They make science come alive for young minds. From outreach programs and exhibits to summer camps, The Science Zone has spent two decades providing opportunities for Casper and Natrona County to explore the sciences in ways that are innovative, interactive, and just plain fun.

The tenth annual Science Zone spring fundraiser, "Elemental Evening", will be held Saturday, April 7th. The event features dinner and cocktails followed by a silent auction, live auction, and raffles. There will also be exciting science demonstrations and exhibits from the museum. The proceeds from the evening will be used to "fund programs, outreach activities, animal care, scholarships, and enable The Science Zone to serve the youth of our region in a unique and exciting way," according to a release from The Science Zone, which saw some 30,000 visitors in 2017.

More from The Science Zone:

"As patrons explore the facility and programs, their own curiosities propel them through exhibits and displays. After school, summer school, special events, and outreach programs have created an awareness of The Science Zone across the state, which bring people to Casper specifically for the museum. The Science Zone is proud to be an essential part of the community and excited to provide opportunities for children to learn and grow.

The Science Zone exists to inspire the mind, to delight the senses and to ignite a passion for the technical arts and sciences."
