A Casper teen accused of robbing a federal credit union has entered his pleas in court.

Seventeen-year old Dillon Martin entered not guilty pleas to one count of armed robbery and one count of aggravated assault.

Investigators say in late August, Martin entered the River Rail Community Federal Credit Union on South Wolcott Street in Casper, pointed a knife at employees and told them to fill up the backpack.

He then fled the area, and police were unable to find him.

A couple of weeks later, detectives received information that Martin had recently been spending a large sum of money around town, including $10,000 in cash for a car, as well as new expensive clothes and was not working.

When interviewed, Martin confessed to the robbery and that he was acting alone at the time.

He is being held on $50,000 bond awaiting trial and could face between five-to-25 years in prison for the armed robbery charge and up to 10 years on the aggravated assault charge if convicted.

He is being tried as an adult.
