A flurry of meetings Tuesday and Wednesday bring revitalization consultants face to face with anyone who wants to be heard on a future vision for downtown Casper.

Crandall-Arambula Principal, George Crandall, says every community complains about strategic plans that just sit on the shelf.

He says they don't work that way.

"You like to come out of the planning process and announce a couple of projects that are ready to go. So we will work with your community to see if we can identify those projects that can happen immediately, because its all about momentum."

A second public strategic planning session happens February 22, Wednesday evening, 6:30 to 8:30, at the Casper Events Center. Anyone interested is encouraged to show up and talk about what they'd like to see in a revitalized downtown.
