Casper Police and Casper Fire-EMS are investigating an accident resulting in injuries and partially blocked traffic in downtown Casper on Friday.

According to initial eyewitness reports, a black Ford was driving west on First Street and ran a red light.

A white pickup was heading north on Center Street.

The white pickup hit the black pickup, causing its airbags to deploy.

The driver of the black pickup continued west on First Street and pulled into the parking lot of U.S. Bank at  South Nichols and West First Streets.

Casper Fire-EMS used the Jaws of Life to cut the driver's side door from the black pickup.

The driver was taken to the Wyoming Medical Center.

A man identifying himself with the company that owned the white pickup, said that driver's head was bleeding and was taken to the hospital.
