A Douglas man died in a single-vehicle rollover crash north of Glendo on Saturday night, according to a news release from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

Johnny S. Vigil, 34, was driving northbound on Wyoming Highway 319 about 10 miles north of Glendo, according to the news release from Patrol Sgt. David Wagener.

The car drifted off the road, traveled north in a ditch, vaulted over a driveway access, and became airborne.

While airborne, the car rolled multiple times. Vigil was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the car.

He was initially taken by ground ambulance to the Douglas airport and then by air ambulance to the Wyoming Medical Center. He died early Sunday morning.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol is investigating speed and alcohol use as factors in the crash.

Vigil's death marked the 116th highway fatality in Wyoming for 2015. There were 124 highway fatalities by Oct. 13, 2014.
