The Wyoming Highway Patrol has released the identities of the two people killed in a fiery two-vehicle weekend crash west of Casper. According to the Patrol, 24-year-old Bobbie Townsend and 30-year-old Kevin Townsend died in the crash just before 3:00 a.m. Sunday on Highway 20/26 about 19 miles west of Casper.

Investigators say Bobbie Townsend was driving a Dodge Magnum, and collided head-on with an SUV driven by Don Haynes of Worland. The Townsend car caught fire, and crews were unable to rescue the two. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Haynes suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Wyoming Medical Center. The crash remains under investigation.
