A Casper man wounded in a fight is heading to prison.

Thirty-five year old Daniel Teel was sentenced to three-to-five years in prison, after pleading guilty to one charge of aggravated assault.

Investigators say in late August, Casper police arrived at the 1400 block of East 2nd Street and found Teel bleeding from a wound on his arm.

Another man told officers that earlier, Teel had called him over to his car and when he leaned his head into the car, Teel punched and kicked him several times and threatened to kill him.

The man retreated into his house and got a gun and fired two shots at Teel’s car.

Teel was wounded, but told investigators his injury was from a dog bite.

The victim suffered multiple facial fractures as a result of the attack.

A motive for the fight was not determined.
