A Casper man is now admitting to have child pornography on his computer.

Dane Sundquist has pleaded guilty to one charge of possession of child pornography.

Investigators with the Casper Police Department say in February 2013, Sundquist was sharing child porn files through a peer-to-peer network.

The computer with the files had an IP address that was traced back to Sundquist.

When questioned Sundquist said he had made searches in the past, but deleted whatever he had downloaded.

Officers obtained a search warrant and later found more than 100 files and images depicting sexual exploitation of children.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors will seek no more than a three-to-five year prison sentence, and the US Attorney's Office has agreed not to press any federal charges.

Sundquist is free on $10,000 bond, and will be sentenced at a later date.

He must also forfeit his computer.
