The Wyoming Highway Patrol reports that 59 year old Gary Griffin of Hamburg, New York was fatally injured June 30th at around 11:00 am when the bicycle he was riding was struck by a pickup on Wyoming 220 about 25 miles south of Casper. Investigating Trooper Clint Haver said Griffin was riding with a group of bicyclists when for an unknown reason he turned left across the highway in front of a vehicle driven by 57 year old Melinda Sebion of Bar Nunn, WY. Sebion was unable to avoid hitting the cyclist. Griffin was taken by helicopter to the Wyoming Medical Center where he later died. No charges are being filed in the incident.
