Crash Kills Casper Woman
A weekend crash in eastern Wyoming has claimed the life of a Casper woman. According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, 36-year-old Nicole Howard was on Highway 85 near Lingle Saturday afternoon when she lost control of her vehicle on a curve. The Chevy left the roadway and rolled several times. Howard was not wearing a seat-belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
An 8-month-old passenger, also from Casper, was secured in the vehicle by a child-safety seat and only suffered minor bumps and bruises. He was treated and released from a Scottsbluff, Nebraska, hospital. The crash remains under investigation, but the Patrol says speed played a role in the crash.
