Crash Cuts Casper Cable

A car crash damaged a number of utility poles in downtown Casper, cutting cable and phone service for a large number of Optimum customers. The crash near Wolcott and Collins Streets initially cut power to several hundred Rocky Mountain Power customers, but electricity was restored overnight.

Details on the driver involved in the accident were unavailable. It was not known when Optimum services would be restored.
