Officials at Casper-Natrona County International Airport are celebrating another strong month.

According to data released on Friday, CPR recorded its 16th consecutive month of increased passenger traffic in May.

Airport manager Glenn Januska says the numbers are impressive.

“Almost 9,000 passengers flew out of the airport in May, which was a 28.6 percent increase compared to the previous may – it’s just a continuation of the strong growth we’ve seen since the beginning of the year,” Januska said on Friday.

Januska says, compared to figures from a year ago, CPR has seen a 25.8 percent increase in passenger traffic.
