CPD: More Arrests During Cheyenne Frontier Days 2013

A spokesman for the Cheyenne Police Department says 94 arrests were made in the city during CFD 2013.

Officer Dan Long says that compares with 75 arrests in the city during Cheyenne Frontier Days 2012. Long says DUI arrests almost doubled this year, with 27 reported compared to 14 during CFD 2012.

Long says he believes the presence of Casper and Laramie Police officers, who were brought in to boost traffic enforcement for the first time during this year's Frontier Days, had a lot to do with the increased number of arrests.
