CPD: Cheyenne Frontier Days 2013 Went Well

( Courtesy Cheyenne Police Department)

A spokesman for the Cheyenne Police Department says that Cheyenne Frontier Days 2013 went well from a law enforcement standpoint.

Officer Dan Long says that while the hard numbers on arrests, calls and other statistics are still being compiled, it appears there were no major incidents beyond the usual increase in citations and arrests that comes with the massive influx of people during CFD.

Long says the additional help provided during Cheyenne Frontier Days 2013 by reinforcements from the Casper and Laramie Police Departments took some of the extra load off of Cheyenne Police officers.
