The Wyoming Cowgirls made quick work of the Seattle Redhawks in the opening round of the WNIT with a 68-52 win on Wednesday in Laramie. the Cowgirls were great field the field at 51%, Seattle was less than average at 32%. Five UW players were in double figures led by Bailee Cotton with 16 and Natalie Baker with 14. Seattle received 17 points from Kamira Sanders but the Cowgirls pulled away in 2nd half after leading by 4 at the intermission. Wyoming now is 22-9 overall and will host Washington State on Saturday at 2pm in the 2nd round of the WNIT. Washington State beat BYU in the opening round of the tournament.
