A Casper woman is now admitting that she took money from a hotel that she managed.

Thirty-seven year old Courtney Stevens has pleaded guilty to one charge of larceny, in a case in which she is accused of taking about $80,000 from the Super 8 Hotel in Evansville.

Investigators say she admitted taking the money between March of 2010 through July of 2012, claiming most of the money was used to cover a surgical procedure.

She said she left the Super 8 and took another job, so she would quit stealing from the hotel.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors will seek no more than a six-to-eight year suspended prison sentence with six years of probation.

Restitution will be discussed at sentencing which will take place at a later date.
