Casper City Council will hold a special work session to interview prospective board members for two joint powers boards at 4 p.m. today, according to a news release from the city manager's office.

Council will meet at City Hall and interview four people for three open positions for the Amoco Reuse Agreement Joint Powers Board and one person for the Hall of Justice/Detention Center Joint Powers Board.

The ARAJPB was created in 1998 to oversee the development of the former Amoco refinery and tank farm properties. Its members are selected from the city, Natrona County, and from the community at large.

The candidates and their interview times are:

  • 4 p.m. -- Bryce Row.
  • 4:10 p.m. -- Scott Sissman.
  • 4:20 p.m. -- Steve Emery.
  • 4:30 p.m. -- Reed Merschat.

The lone candidate for the Hall of Justice/Detention Center Joint Powers Board is Amanda Sewell, who will be interviewed at 4:40 p.m.

Council will then adjourn for an executive session.

Council will vote at a future regular meeting to select the candidates.
