A Casper man is in jail after stabbing a man in the throat.

32-year old Cortney Reeb is facing a felony aggravated assault charge for using a knife in a weekend scuffle.

According to Mills Police, back on Friday evening November 25th, Reeb arrived at the Do Drop Inn to collect his mail from a neighbor.

When he opened the door, a man lunged at him and grabbed him by the throat.

Reeb pulled a kitchen knife from his pocket and managed to cut the other guy's throat.

Reeb was later arrested and taken to the Natrona County Detention Center, where he remains on $10,000 bond.

The Mills Police Department says they are still investigating what the fight was about and how it started.
