Leftover tropical moisture from Hurricane Simon will move into eastern Wyoming today.  The best chance for rain showers will be across far southeastern parts of the state this afternoon and evening.  Heavy rain and reduced visibility could also be possible at times along portions of I-25 (Colorado state line to Chugwater) and I-80 (Nebraska state line to Laramie).  Expect a smaller chance for showers and thunderstorms across the rest of eastern Wyoming, while much of western Wyoming will stay mainly dry.  Winds could also be strong and gusty at times, but no significant gusting is expected.  A cool front will also cross through the state today, which makes temperatures noticeably cooler and near or slightly below normal.  Daytime highs will remain in the 50's and 60's.  Expect partly sunny skies and cooler than normal temperatures throughout the state on Friday.  There will also be another chance for showers and a few thunderstorms across eastern Wyoming.
