Cooler With A Good Chance For Rain & T-Storms In SE Wyo., Seasonal With Isolated Storms Elsewhere

A large trough of low pressure will remained settled over the Pacific Northwest and California for the rest of today.  This will funnel plenty of subtropical moisture into the state of Wyoming.  At the same time, an upper-level weather system will be moving across the region.  Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies and a good chance for rain showers and thunderstorms across southeastern portions of the state.  We will see a mix of sun and clouds and isolated showers and thunderstorms elsewhere.  While the best chance for precipitation will be across southeastern Wyoming, heavy rain could be possible at times statewide.  There will also be a chance for hail and gusty winds with any storm that develops.  Temperatures will be cooler and below normal for southeastern Wyoming today, with daytime highs in the 70's.  Seasonably warm temperatures continue elsewhere, with daytime highs in the 80's.  The upper-level weather system that has been settled over western portions of the nation will slowly move into western and northern Wyoming on Wednesday and Thursday, while higher pressure builds over the rest of the state.  Expect partly sunny skies and scattered showers and thunderstorms for western and northern Wyoming during this time.  Temperatures could become a few degrees cooler, but it will remain close to average.  Meanwhile, expect minimal cloudiness, warm and near average temperatures, and a small chance for showers and thunderstorms for central and southeastern Wyoming on Wednesday and Thursday.
