An upper-level weather system will slowly move across the state of Wyoming today.  Cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, early and late patchy fog, and rain showers are expected throughout the entire state.  Heavy rain will also be possible later this evening and overnight, mainly across central and eastern portions of the state.  Mountain snow is expected overnight and there could also be a rain/snow mix over the highest elevations of I-80 (over the Summit and near Elk Mountain).  Roads will most likely stay wet statewide, but we cannot rule out some slick spots over the higher elevations of I-80 into early Friday morning.  Temperatures will be cool and below normal today, with high temperatures in the 40's and 50's.  Our latest weather system will then move out of the region on Friday.  Expect early clouds and fog with lingering rain showers, especially throughout far eastern Wyoming.  We will then see gradually clearing skies and improving weather conditions for the rest of the day.  Temperatures will be not as cool, but still slightly below the average for this time of year.  Higher pressure brings more settled conditions to the state this weekend.
