The weather will be rather quiet across the Cowboy State for the next few days.   The exceptions are the state’s northwest, southeast and northeast corners.  In the northwest a little snow will continue to fall.  The southeast corner will be dealing with strong northwest winds today.  The far northeast corner, including the Black Hills of Wyoming, will see additional snowfall and strong winds.  There a Winter Storm Warning is in effect through 6pm.

Other than the exiting system in the northeast, no fronts or major storm systems are expected between now and Friday.  Therefore it will be mainly dry in the lower elevations with only a little light snow in the mountains.  It will be staying cool as well with highs in the teens in the higher elevations and 20s and 30s elsewhere.
