The Natrona County Commission has canceled its work session and regularly scheduled meeting for Tuesday because of the memorial service for the late Mick McMurry.

There will be community-wide remembrance for McMurry, who died last week, at the Casper Events Center at 2 p.m.

The commissioners have rescheduled the work session, which usually begins at 2 p.m. or 3 p.m., and the regular 5:30 p.m. meeting for next Tuesday, March 24. The agendas for those meetings can be found at the county's website.

The Casper College Board will push its work session and finance meeting back from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Tuesday to accommodate those attending the service. That session will end by 6 p.m. and its regular board meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Gateway Building, Room 312.

Casper City Council is still scheduled to hold its regular meeting at 6 p.m.

Council will conduct a public hearing about the request by VA Resources, LLC, and Eastgate Ranches, LLC, to annex 23.4 acres known as the "open space addition" in the McMurry Business Park Planned Unit Development south of East Second Street and west of the Heights Addition.

Council also will conduct public hearings about an appeal of the city's Planning and Zoning Commission's decision to deny -- based on security reasons -- a conditional use permit for a manufactured mobile home at 440 N. Washington St.; a transfer of property between East Elkhorn Ranch, LLC, Casper Redevelopment Company, LLC, and the city; a transfer of a liquor license from Safeway Stores to Ridley's Family Markets at 1375 CY Ave.; and the issuance of a new liquor license to Lime Leaf Asian Bistro Inc., 845 E. Second St.
