Come Help Break The Silence!
Bad News! Our great state of Wyoming ranks in the top 3 of US states with highest number of suicides per capita and we need your help to “Break the Silence”.
Come join in on the Break the Silence walk, as we are hoping to raise awareness and help call attention to Suicide Prevention.
The break the silence walk is this Saturday, Sept. 15th starting at 4pm at Crossroads Park (Just off of Poplar Street next to Mike Lansing Field).
Everyone is invited – it’s FREE – and people of all ages can walk as far (or as little) as they would like. There will be lots of local musical groups playing along the walking pathway and a free burger awaits you when you return to the gazebo at Crossroads Park.
The first 300 walkers will enjoy burgers from Johnny J’s, cooked by Jim McBride of The Johnson Restaurant Group and music is by Corey McDaniel.
This is not a fundraiser. The Natrona County Prevention Coalition requests your PRESENCE… not your money!
Come help start the conversation and help reduce the number of suicides in Wyoming.
