The Natrona County Sheriff's Office says 63-year old Charles Putnam, was out checking fences and property lines, at his ranch near Pine Mountain on Sunday afternoon, September 14th.

When he did not return home that evening, his wife called 911, and a search and rescue team was called in.

Putnam was spotted by aircraft Monday afternoon and when rescue crews arrived, he was awake and dehydrated.

It turned out he had rolled his ATV and was pinned underneath it, at the bottom of a ravine.

He was life-flighted to Wyoming Medical Center, to be checked for any other injuries.
