The first weekend in December brings the return of the remainder sale by the Casper College Ceramics Department. Pieces leftover, for whatever reason, will go on sale by students and the money that comes in goes back out to help pay for visiting artists.

"Every semester we bring in a professional artist who comes and does their work and has a show in the gallery so the students can expand their horizons."

Casper College Ceramics Instructor, Mike Olsen says the sale starts Friday morning and continues Saturday. Olsen says there will be items ranging in price from a few dollars to hundreds. He adds that if you plan to be there at 9 a.m. on Friday expect it to be busy. "We move a lot of pots out the door Friday morning."

The Ceramics Department remainder sale at Casper College is in the Goodstein Visual Arts Center, room 102, this Friday 9 to 5 and Saturday 10 to 4.
