It will be a chilly day statewide with highs in the teens to the lower 30s.  Temperatures on Wednesday will be quite similar.

Northwest flow in the mid and upper levels of the atmosphere will bring additional scattered snow showers mainly to the north and to the state’s mountain ranges over the next couple of days.  The Snowy Range, Sierra Madre  Range and the southern portion of Carbon County remain in a Winter Storm Warning through 6pm Thursday.   The northwest and west central portions of the state are under a Winter Weather Advisory through 5pm this afternoon.  An Avalanche Warning is also in effect for the Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains, the Salt River and Wyoming Ranges and the Upper Green River basin foothills.
