A cold front will make its way through the Cowboy State today.  Scattered showers will be found along the front.  There may be a few thunderstorms in central and southeastern Wyoming later today too, as that is where the warmer temperatures will be found.

Speaking of temperatures, they are going to turn chilly overnight tonight into Thursday morning.  The front will be ushering in the cooler temperatures.  With skies expected to clear behind the front, any heat close to the surface will have a chance to escape which will lead to the chilly conditions in some areas.  Freeze Watches are in effect for portions of west central and southwest Wyoming on Thursday morning.

The air mass behind the front will be cooler, but also mainly dry and stable.  This will lead to a cooler day statewide on Thursday, but it will also be mostly sunny.
