ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) — The Rock Springs Police Department is reviewing evidence in the disappearance of an 18-year-old woman that happened 30 years ago.

Police say Amber Scholz was last seen after a friend drove her to her apartment from a party on Nov. 8, 1981.

Police presume Scholz is dead but the case remains open. It is the only unresolved missing person case in Rock Springs.

Her sister, Bobbie Lenhof, tells the Rock Springs Rocket-Miner (http://bit.ly/tob6jC ) that the family wants to bring Scholz home and let her be at peace.

Police are hoping to find DNA that might identify a suspect in the case.
