A Casper man is admitting he broke into a number of businesses at Eastridge Mall.

Thirty-seven year old Colby Thomas has pleaded guilty to one count of burglary and one count of wrongful taking or disposing of property.

Investigators say in mid-August, a number of businesses were broken into in the food court of Eastridge Mall and a number of items had been stolen after the mall had closed.

Officers obtained footage from a security camera inside the Subway store and identified Thomas as the burglar.

After searching his vehicle, police found other items related to a separate burglary at the Sunrise Shopping Center, as well as burglary tools used to pry open doors.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors will seek no more than a three-to-five year prison sentence, which will be handed down at a later date.
