Cody Sylvester Charged With Aggravated Burglary In Connection To Antique Gun Theft

Another person has been arrested and charged in connection with the theft of a number of antique guns last month.

24-year old Cody Sylvester has been charged with 1 count of aggravated burglary, after police say he stole about $7,000 worth of guns and other historical memorabilia, from the home of Bruce Berst back in early October.

A friend of Sylvester's told police that not long after the theft occurred, Sylvester had a duffel bag that held items he claimed were stolen.

Another person later bought one of the guns from an accomplice, but that gun was turned over to the police when he learned that it was stolen.

Officers recovered some of the stolen items when they found Sylvester.

He is being held at the Natrona County Detention Center on $10,000 bail.
