A Casper man has been sentenced for his role in a burglary at a shooting range.

Cody Rissler was given a five-to-seven year suspended prison sentence, with three years of probation, after pleading guilty to burglarizing the Stuckenhoff's shooters complex.

Prosecutors say in November, Rissler and a friend went to Stuckenhoff's and removed the plywood from a boarded up window to gain entry.

Once inside the pair used a cutting torch to open a safe and stole several guns.

Rissler later admitted to investigators that he was drunk at the time, and later returned some of the stolen items to police.
