CodeRed Test To Be Done On Monday

CodeRED website

Anyone in Natrona County that is signed up with the Code Red Emergency Mass Notification System, should find out if the system is working soon.

Natrona County Emergency Management will be conducting a test of the Code Red system this Monday, April 16th at 10 AM.

The test call is being performed to gauge Natrona County’s phone infrastructure, as well as to eliminate phone numbers in the system, that are no longer in use.

The Code Red system is used to send the public emergency messages such as evacuation notices, severe weather or even missing child alerts from law enforcement and emergency units.
