City Council Will Interview Nine Applicants For Ward I
Nine people have applied for the Ward I Casper City Council position vacated by council member Robin Mundell, according to a prepared statement from the Casper City Manager's Office.
The candidates needed to be registered voters in Natrona County, and have lived in Ward I since at least Jan. 1, 2015.
They are David Dewald, Erich Frankland, Brian Scott Gamroth, Wayne Heili, Reginald Kokes, Barbara LeMaitre, Jason Magnuson, James “Tim” Monroe, and Rita Walsh.
On Monday, Jan. 18, council will hold a special regular session to interview the candidates.
Council will then adjourn into executive session at 6 p.m. to discuss the candidates. Council will return to the special regular session after the deliberations to officially vote on the new council member.
The meeting will be held in Council Chambers at City Hall, is open to the public, and will be broadcast on cable channel 192.
