Chicago Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested in Laramie

A woman who is a suspect in several thefts and burglaries in both Colorado and Wyoming, as well as being a suspect in a Chicago Bank Robbery, was arrested in Laramie last week.

According the the Laramie Police Department, a joint effort between themselves, the FBI and the Ft. Collins, CO Police Department led to the arrest of 25-year-old Sausha Engelbretson on the 1200 block of South 3rd Street, last Friday.  Police say that in addition to being a suspect in the May 8th bank robbery in Chicago, Illinois, she is suspected in several thefts and burglaries in Laramie, Cheyenne and Fort Collins.

Engelbretson was taken into custody without incident.  It is said she was in Laramie for several days visiting friends.

Bank Robbery is a federal crime and could result in a fine and up to twenty-five years in prison or both.
