Cheyenne Police Investigate Stolen Guns [Updated]

UPDATE: 8;30 a.m. Tuesday. Cheyenne Police say the 2012 Porsche which was stolen in the burglary was found last night at 6th Avenue and Reed Streets.

Cheyenne Police are investigating the theft of over 60 guns.

Officer Dan Long says unknown suspects stole over 60 assorted firearms, including rifles, shotguns and pistols, from a house in the 3900 block of Moore Avenue between Dec. 23 and Dec. 25.

Ammunition, cash, jewelry and multiple safes were also stolen as well as a black 2012 Porshe Cayenne with a University of Wyoming Alumni license plate (8-135).

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is currently offering a $5000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of suspects in this case.

The case remains under investigation.
