A Natrona County woman will avoid prison time after admitting she was in a sexual relationship with a high school student.

Cheyanne Payseno was given a three-to-five year suspended prison sentence with three years of probation, after she pleaded guilty to one charge of third degree sexual abuse of a minor (originally charged with second degree sexual abuse of a minor).

Investigators with the Casper Police Department say sometime in 2015, the underaged male victim informed them that he would call into school and excuse himself, and had a number of consensual sexual encounters at Payseno's residence.

When interviewed, Payseno admitted to the encounters, and stated she was aware that the victim was underage.

She must also complete the felony program at the Casper Re-Entry Center.
