Cheyenne Murder Probe Underway

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — One man is dead and another injured in an altercation at a mobile home park on Cheyenne's south side.

Gerry Luce is spokesman for the Laramie County Sheriff's Department. He says the incident was reported at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

Investigators found a 22-year-old Cheyenne man shot to death at the mobile home and another man there suffering from stab wounds. Luce says the wounded man remained hospitalized on Friday morning.

Luce says a third man who called to report the violence had driven away from the scene. His car was shot several times but the man wasn't hit. Luce says no arrests have been made.

Luce declined to identify any of the three people involved. He says an autopsy for the dead man will be performed Friday in Colorado.
