CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A Cheyenne man has been sentenced to 25 to 30 years in prison for sexually abusing two girls.

A Laramie County judge on Thursday also ordered Jeremy Nunamaker to spend 40 years on probation after his sentence for four counts of sexual abuse involving two minor girls.

Nunamaker was found guilty in February of having sexual contact with a teenage girl in 2014 and of sexual intrusion of a then-8-year-old girl in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Both incidents took place at a home in Cheyenne.

Nunamaker's attorney Melody Anchietta says her client did not take the stand at his sentencing because he intends to appeal the conviction.
