A 20-year-old Cheyenne man could face up to seven years in prison after police found a vial of testosterone in the car he was driving.

Dixon A. Ferrin III made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court this (Tuesday) morning.

Ferrin was arrested on October 4, after a police officer observed him getting out of a car that matched a possible suspect vehicle from an earlier robbery report.

Ferrin told the officer that the car belonged to his girlfriend, but he drove it regularly.

When police searched the car they found a vial containing 0.02 ounces of liquid steroid growth hormone.

A record check also confirmed that Ferrin had a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear for court.

Ferrin has been charged with felony possession of testosterone-liquid form. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 18 at 1:30 p.m.
