One man is dead and two other people are injured after a one-vehicle crash in Platte County near the town of Glendo.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Dylan Freeman of Cheyenne was driving northbound on Interstate 25 just after 5:30 p.m. Monday when he lost control of his 2003 Ford F-150. Officials say Freeman’s pickup slid off the right side of the roadway and rolled through a fence.

One passenger, 18-year-old Theodore Weekly of Cheyenne, was partially ejected from the vehicle and was found dead at the scene. Both Freeman and another passenger – 19-year-old Sammantha Schulz, also of Cheyenne – were sent to Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland for treatment.

Highway patrol officials believe speed was a contributing factor in the crash.
