A Cheyenne woman has been sentenced to three years of supervised probation for kicking and injuring a cop.

Nicole Meza was convicted in September of interference with a peace officer – causing bodily injury.

Evidence presented at trial showed Meza kicked Cheyenne Police Officer Rebecca Juschka in the throat when Juschka attempted to remove her from the back of a patrol car.

Meza was facing a maximum sentence of up to ten years in prison.
