The Cheyenne Central girls pulled off an upset in the 4A State Tournament with a 41-34 win over Kelly Walsh in Casper on Thursday night. The KW Trojans started the tourney with a record of 18-5 while Central came in at 13-14. Central outscored Kelly Walsh 17-9 in the 4th quarter with Sammy Geyer leading the Indians with 10 points. Central shot 35% from the field and were 13-22 from the free throw line. Kelly Walsh shot just 26% from the floor and received 9 points each from Madison Vinich and Jamia Johnson.The Lady Trojans will play Natrona in the consolation round. Cheyenne Central moves to the 4A semi-finals to meet Gillette on Friday at the Events Center.
