Cheyenne Aquatic Center to Close for Repairs

The Cheyenne Aquatic Center will be closed Monday, August 31 through Labor Day.

The newly remodeled facility opened its doors on May 1, after a $7.3 million remodel and addition.

Aquatics Coordinator Scott Phillips says the week-long closure will allow the contractor time to make necessary repairs.

"We're doing some warranty work on the facility that needs to be done, some painting and then there's some tile work that's being done on the new pool," said Phillips.  "We're just doing some routine maintenance also."

The Aquatic Center will reopen on Tuesday, September 8 at 6:00 a.m.
