Chance For Heavy Rain & Strong Thunderstorms Through Sunday

A large trough of low pressure will remained settled over the Pacific Northwest and California for the rest of today, Saturday, and Sunday.  This will continue to transport subtropical moisture and atmospheric instability into the state of Wyoming during this time.  Cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, rain showers, and thunderstorms will be likely through the end of the weekend.  Heavy rain and flash flooding will be the main concern for much of the state.  Strong thunderstorms will also be possible and could be capable of producing hail, damaging winds, lots of lightning.  Expect mild and near or slightly below average temperatures statewide, with daytime highs staying in the 60's and 70's.  By Monday, this weather system will start to weaken and our supply of subtropical moisture will disappear.  We will see partially clearing skies and slightly warmer temperatures for the start of the work week.  However, there will still be a small chance for showers and thunderstorms.
